Client Background
Rustic Revive is a North East based small business creating handmade, rustic style furniture. With a strong craft product but limited digital presence, the owner, Jonathan, needed help getting online and attracting more customers.
The Challenge
Jonathan faced several barriers:
Very limited budget for marketing activity
No online infrastructure (website, tracking, catalog setup)
Account and access issues (multiple logins, missing passwords, broken tracking)
Low confidence in marketing after poor past experiences
With sales relying mainly on word of mouth, Rustic Revive needed a reliable digital starting point before thinking about scaling.
Strategise
Given the constraints, we focused on essentials:
Build a website as a digital home for products
Connect Meta accounts and catalog to allow ads and social selling
Test Google Ads at a very low budget to see what traffic could be generated
Prioritise fixing technical issues (tracking, logins, password management) so Jonathan could regain control
Create
Designed and launched a simple, functional website showcasing his products
Connected Rustic Revive’s Meta catalog and accounts for proper ad integration
Produced basic content and product copy for web listings
Organised Jonathan’s digital accounts and tracking systems, giving him one clear setup going forward
Activate
Launched test Google Ads campaigns to bring traffic within a small daily budget
Connected website and Meta so that Jonathan could run his own promotions with ease
Began with modest awareness ads, optimising for clicks and basic visibility
Scale (paused)
Due to cash flow challenges, Rustic Revive couldn’t continue scaling campaigns at this time. However, the digital foundation means Jonathan can re-activate ads and campaigns once the budget allows, without having to restart from zero.
Results & Impact
Rustic Revive now has a live website and product catalog
Tracking and accounts organised, fixing years of login and access headaches
Initial ad campaigns delivered traffic and early sales, proving digital channels can work
Jonathan now has control and clarity to build on when cash flow improves
